ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY GETAWAY.....

Can you believe that we have already been married for 1 whole year?? It has gone by so fast and it has been amazing! We both LOVE being married..People say the 1st year is the hardest..but I dont agree with that at all! Yeah, we have our little arguments and disagreements but those things are what help us grow closer together! I love Joey so much! :)

So..we wanted to go somewhere sweet for our anniversary like Sandiego..but it's so expensive! So since we just got a new truck, we've been wanting to go camping, so thats what we decided we would do. We drove down south past Bryce Cayon, to a campsite called Kodachrome! Its in between Bryce Canyon, and a little town called Escalante. It was a blast! We hiked, played games, ate at cute little towns, shopped around, stayed in a hotel the first night, played catch, and hung out by the campfire!

Here we are by our new truck :)

haha..So Joey saw these cows with HUGE horns and we had to pull over and get a picture by them...he was pretty excited!

We saw SO many lizards..they were so cute!

Our nice big tent we got for our wedding..

We loved our campsite!

Joey climbed up this way steep rocky mountain side (I tried but I couldnt do it), You can see him at the very top in the middle!

Long Overdue...I know!!

I know, I know..I'ts been a really long time since i've posted anything! Some of these pics are new and some are from Easter..haha oops!! I'll try and be better! First things first..for my birthday, Joey and his family gave me a CRICUT! I've been wanting one so bad..I was so excited!

Isn't it so pretty? Im in love!!!

Lately i've been in a crafty mood! I'm pretty impressed with myself!!! I know they aren't perfect but I feel like its a good start! Im happy with how they have all turned out!

The Christmas countdown is on.....

I made these for my cousins wedding!!

These were made BEFORE the cricut came into my life! Dont worry...the next ones will look so much better with vinyl letters! I can't wait!

In the beginning this was GOLD and ugly!! I painted it black! Now I love it!

Now here come the Easter pictures! This Easter turned out to be a pretty good one! My parents decide to come to Pocatello, so we were able to meet them their and spend all weekend with them! I feel like it's been so long since we've last seen them! We were able to introduce Joey to "Buddy's"...for those of you who aren't cool enough to be from Pocatello.."Buddy's" is the most amazing italian restaurant ever!! Joey loved it! (I knew he would). We got to hang out with lots of family and just relax.

Since this was mine and Joey's 1st Easter as a married couple, I wanted it to be special of course...so I got him a cute basketball Easter basket and filled it with all of his favorite things! Joey being a guy...didn't even think about gettin me and Easter basket!! What would we do without the Easter Bunny!! :) Thanks Mom and Dad!

NEW Haircut!!

So yesterday I did it! I cut my hair!! I was going to wait until summer...but I was so sick of pullin it up in a pony tail for work and I needed a change! So....Aubrey..the best hairstylist EVER chopped 8 inches of my hair off yesterday! I was pretty nervous at first, but now I love it and I'm glad I did it :)

VIVA LAS VEGAS!!!

Where do I even start?! Las Vegas was so much fun! Joey and his friends have been going down to vegas for the Mountain West basketball tournament every year for the past probably 5 years. Last year we went...and we decided to go again this year! So I got off work early on Thurs and we headed to Vegas! The car was pretty crowded..it was kinda a long 6 hours! But definetly worth it! In our car there was Joey and I, Jeff and Tara Mills, and Darren Terry. Then we met another couple down there..Brad and Diondra..they live in Arizona. Once we got there, we met up with our them and we ate dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings! It's SO good and SO cheap! We were all pretty exhausted from the drive so we just hung out the rest of the night!

There are TONS of pictures! So i'll break it up a little bit! Here are the pics from thursday..drivin in the car all crowded!

Friday we woke up early and decided to go to the temple! Best decision we have ever made! The Las Vegas Temple is absolutely GORGEOUS!! It was seriously so pretty inside! It was really cool to be there with all of us together! We really enjoyed it! Later that day..we went to the pool and layed out, drank pina coladas..and sat in the hot tub..haha it was pretty windy so it was nice to be warm :)

Friday night we decided to got down to Downtown Las Vegas! It was so much fun! It's crazy how dirty vegas is! It was interesting to go to the temple and see that side of Vegas, then go down to the strip and see that side! People live such different life styles than we do! They truly are missing out! I know is sounds dumb..but im so grateful for my values and the things I know! I'm so glad we have the Gospel in our lives!

In downtown vegas, they have this spot where you can get fried twinkies and fried oreos! They are actually pretty dang good!!

We went to this hotel that has a pool outside, and in the middle of the pool is a bunch of fish and 3 sharks! No joke! They even have a water slide going through the middle! It was so fun to just sit there and watch the sharks!!

Tara is from vegas..so we were so lucky to be able to stay with her family! Saturday we shopped all day long! Then the boys went to the BYU game...while the girls shopped some more! Saturday night we went to the strip and just walked around! We walked in tons of malls and casinos! They have some pretty cool places!

Vegas turned out to be such a great vacation!! Thanks everybody..we had tons of fun!
